30th June

Craft-e

Craft-e offers you space in an 'electronic market' where you can describe and display your products and services. This is then made available to the public through their website and puts you in touch with a much wider audience. £25 + VAT to register to be a provider, then a monthly rate depending on the number of products you want to list. 29th June

Stuller

Tonya Davidson needs your pictures!

Tonya is seeking to promote you and your art!  Please send images of pieces that have metal clay and mixed media such as : enamels, faux bone, polymer, resins, colored pencils etc to her for possible inclusion in her presentation at the PMC Conference in Purdue. 

Please send your high quality professional photos of 300 dpi in jpeg format or tiff to Tonya by July 9th. Please include your name,  website, date made, size, materials used and any other information you feel like sharing so they can tag them properly.

Holly Gage is currently inviting submissions for her Metal Clay Jewellery Calendar 2011. All the information you need to get your work considered is on Holly's website. You have until 15th August 2010 to get your submissions to Holly.

Hattie Sanderson is writing a book about metal clay rings and is looking for images of rings from metal clay artists. Full details are on Hattie's website. You have until 1st November 2010 to get your submissions to Hattie.

Pearl Grey Steel Clay - now available from Hadar Jacobson

The Pearl Grey Steel metal powder is silver-gray in color. It is very pliable and soft, and does not become grainy after being stored in the refrigerator, even after many weeks. It also leaves your hands clean. Read more on Hadar's blog here.

Prometheus Copper Clay is now available

Another new clay is launched today. Prometheus Copper Clay fires in 30 minutes at 850 degrees C and requires no special firing pan. And it comes as syringe clay as well as lump clay.
